Once again, the world failed to end, despite a high-profile prediction from a radio preacher in California.

Harold Camping, the 90-year-old leader of Family Radio International, stirred a global frenzy when he predicted that the Rapture would take 200 million Christians to heaven on May 21. When the Rapture didn't occur, Camping said he got his Bible-based calculations wrong and revised his prophecy to set the world's end on Friday, Oct. 21.

But as the day wore on around the world, there was no sign that doomsday had dawned.

Definitely. Maybe he'll try that for his inevitable October 22nd explanation.

His strategy was not so good. He could of said about waves of Apocalypse that go progressively towards the end of the world. It was the major earthquake in Japan. Around May 21st the activation of Iceland big volcanoes and the worst tornadoes in US in decades. October 21st the next wave will come. Prepare yourself and every day tune in on my TV and radio channels to learn more. In this way it wouldn't have matter if predictions are a few days wrong and they would've been easier to manipulate. Still room for laughing but also for believing.

At least a vulcano on Iceland erupted! Of course that's nothing anyone on Iceland would be worried about, but I guess this guy still thinks he predicted exactly this eruption..
