Winning option:South America Argentine Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio has been elected the Roman Catholic Church's new Pope.
The first Latin American to be Pope, he will call himself Francis I.
Cardinal Bergoglio replaces Benedict XVI, who resigned last month saying he was not strong enough to lead the Church.
The 115 cardinals have been in isolation since Tuesday afternoon, and held four inconclusive votes.

Predictions
Background
All of the previous Popes have been European, with the vast majority Italian. But the last two have been Polish and German, so changes may be afoot. Most of the world's Catholics are located in the Southern Hemisphere, so is it time for an African or South American Pope? Or one from somewhere else . . . or another European?
