CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are on the lookout for a man who cut off his electronic monitoring device.
Officials says Joshua Sean Lowery cut off his device at his home on Scaleybark Road and is currently on the run.
Prior to removing the bracelet, Lowery was on 24 hour house arrest after bonding out of jail in December 2011. He’d been arrested for a home invasion robbery where shots were fired.
According to authorities, Lowery has an extensive criminal history including arrests for multiple robberies, drugs and weapon charges.
Lowery is the third offender to cut off his court ordered device this year.
