Background

A manhunt is underway for a 'desperate and dangerous' armed fugitive who escaped from a prison after scaling the razor wire fence.
David Glenn Hobson, who was awaiting trial for burglary, broke out of the Caroll County House of Corrections in Ossipee, New Hampshire.
It's thought the 33-year-old was seriously injured climbing the fence after investigators found a large amount of blood in a stolen vehicle.

They think he may have sustained a serious laceration to his body.
'He has been out in the cold for three nights, he is injured and fully armed. That is a desperate combination,' a Maine State Police spokesman told the New Hampshire Union leader yesterday.
Hobson was reported missing just after 2pm on Thursday.
An SUV stolen from Wakefield, New Hampshire, was found on Saturday near the Sanford-Alfred-Lyman town lines, and police believe Hobson may still be in the area - probably in nearby woods.
Hobson is white with strawberry blond hair, approximately 135 pounds, 5ft 6ins, and was wearing a gray sweat shirt and gray sweat pants when he escaped.
State, federal, county and local officers used dogs and two airplanes to search several areas of Alfred and Sanford on Saturday but there were no sightings of the fugitive.

Police believe Hobson may have stolen another vehicle - a 2004 blue Honda Accord - from Sanford on Thursday night or early Friday morning and are asking for the public's help in finding it.
According to The Fosters Daily Democrat, this is not Hobson's first time being a flight risk.
In 2008, the newspaper reported that he was wanted on several outstanding warrants for probation revocation. He was allegedly living in the woods near the power lines in Sanford.
Two years earlier, the Sanford News reported that he was indicted on 33 counts of burglary, theft and other charges in connection with four cases being pursued by three different agencies.
He was a suspect in several Alfred area burglaries committed between February and July 2005, which primarily involved thefts of cash and prescription drugs
