TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A Tucson-area woman has died after Pima County authorities say she was run over by her husband following an argument.
Pima County Sheriff's Department officials tell KVOA-TV they believe Michele Lee Masterson was accidentally struck by her husband, Gil Masterson, after a verbal argument at their Vail home Thursday morning.
Masterson was transported by air to a Tucson hospital where she died Thursday night.
Investigators believe her husband was attempting to leave the residence after an argument, and she was in front of the vehicle when she was struck.
The case remains under investigation.
