Winning option:and 4 This was settled backwards, sorry. Chrome and Firefox remained untouched/unchallenged at the contest thus, 'surviving' any exploitation. http://www.computerworld.com/s/article/9214378/Google_patches_Pwn2Own_WebKit_bug_in_Chrome?taxonomyId=85

Background

Pwn2Own is a computer hacking contest held at the annual CanSecWest security conference, beginning in 2007. Contestants are challenged to exploit specific software (especially web browsers and other web related software) /computing platform targets. For each successful exploit, the contest's sponsor, TippingPoint, provides a report to the applicable vendor, detailing the vulnerability and how it was exploited.

The contest will be taking place on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of March, 2011 in Vancouver, BC during the CanSecWest conference.

This year the web browser targets will be the latest release candidate (at the time of the contest) of the following products:

Microsoft Internet Explorer
Apple Safari
Mozilla Firefox
Google Chrome

Each browser will be installed on a 64-bit system running the latest version of either OS X or Windows 7.

Oops, sorry mayank. I understood they had moved on to mobile devices. We will re-settle correctly if needed.

And the scheduled hacker for Chrome did not turn up. So in a way, it can be considered flawless.

The contest is not over yet. Firefox will be attacked on Thursday or Friday.

Contestants in a high-stakes hacking contest had no trouble toppling the Apple Safari and Microsoft Internet Explorer browsers, proving for a fifth year in a row that no software or application is safe from people with the expertise and motivation to exploit them.
