Background

Prices continued to rise, but more slowly as they only increased by about 4¢ this week. Are we getting near a stalling point where the increases are less, or perhaps even a slight fall in price. Just what will the price be by next Monday, March 4?

Here are the prices for the past few weeks:
Jan. 21 $3.315
Jan. 28 $3.357
Feb. 04 $3.538
Feb. 11 $3.611
Feb. 19 $3.747
Feb. 25 $3.784

We're looking for the US average price of a gallon of gasoline as reported by the USIA on Monday, Feb. 25.

The price should be reported in the afternoon, so the question will suspended Monday morning.
