Kazakhstan's Alexandre Vinokourov win Olympic gold in the men's cycling road race, leaving MarkCavendish's medal hopes in tatters.

Vinokourov sprinted clear of Colombia's Rigoberto Uran in the final stages, whilst Norway's Alexander Kristoff pipped the rest of the breakaway pack to bronze.
