Winning option: 'Guilty on some charges'.

Background

The suspend date was moved to June 22, 2012 at 12:00 because the defense has rested and closing arguments are set for the 21st.
The case is on track to go to the jury on the 22nd.

Jury selection starts around June 5th.

This is a trial regarding the molestation and sexual abuse of at least 10 boys associated with the Second Mile charity and Penn State University at the hands of Jerry Sandusky. Sandusky was the assistant football coach at Penn State and served under the legendary Joe Paterno who is now deceased. There are 52 charges filed against Sandusky who denies everything. Is this a case of bad memories? A case of revenge against a coach? A case of mass hysteria? Or is this charitable man truly a monster pedophile? This is the case to follow.

Guilty on 45 of 48 remaining charges out of the original 52, then reduced to 51 and eventually to 48.

One charge has been dropped, so now the total charges facing Sandusky stands at 51. Also, I recant my post below because the young witnesses were able to remain anonymous in the court records.

The alleged victims must testify under their actual names rather than a Number or a Pseudonym. That puts extreme pressure on the victims to actually take the stand. On the flip side, if the victims are truly credible and they take the stand under their own names then this guy is going to prison for many years. This trial should come in just under the ratings for the OJ trial.
