Each week I will feature a golfer who is not a superstar. These are golfers who are young and in my opinion are starting to show certain signs of breaking through the obstacles on their road to greatness. This week I am featuring Rickie Fowler. Rickie turned pro in 2009 after attending Oklahoma State University. In his last 3 starts he has three top-five finishes including a victory at the Wells Fargo tournament. He has also missed the cut or finished outside the top 25 eight times in 2012. This week he is pitting himself against the best in the world including Bubba Watson who is just returning after his Masters victory. World #1 Luke Donald, #2 Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods are also in the field. So how will Rickie Fowler do against these established powerhouses?
If Rickie misses the cut this question will settle after the 2nd round on Friday. Or Saturday if he is MDF.

MDF means he survives the cut on Friday, but the field has too many players so they cut again after the third round to get down to 70 players. MDF=Made cut, did not finish.
