Winning option:8 - 270 Winning outcome is 268-270. Carl Pettersson shot a final round 69 to close out the four day total at 270.

Background

The lowest four round total shot in nine years at this Hilton Head course is 264. The highest is 277. Last year's winner Brandt Snedeker shot 272 and eventually won the tournament in a playoff with Luke Donald who also shot a 272. This is a Par 71 course so four rounds of even par will be 284. If Petterson stays at -3 then that's a 68 and eventually becomes 269. I don't see him taking the kinds of chances like Zack Johnson is doing. All the Swede has to do is keep firing for the center of the green and two putt to win this.

I learned back in the Hubdub days that if I asked a golf question without explaining what the known circumstances are, that people tended not to wager on it. Plus it is only fair to re-state what the stats are without requiring the bettor to do a ton of homework. If a bettor has to do a lot of research just to get a handle on a question, then chances are that person will wager on someone elses question. Thanks for the compliment Cici :)
